Established by Anna Fisher in 1993, Kea New Zealand Limited provides Japanese interpreting and translation services, personalised guiding, and cultural guidance for both Japanese and New Zealand clients.
Over 30 years of experience in acting for government, business and individuals as well as across a wide variety of sectors and industries. Successful communication is much more than just translating between languages. Anna’s extensive cross-cultural experience and friendly professional manner assists her clients achieve true mutual understanding.
In 2017, Anna was awarded the Minister of Foreign Affairs Commendation Award for promoting bicultural relations between Japan and New Zealand.

Background
Anna is a New Zealander based in Auckland, fluent in both written and spoken Japanese language. She has lived in Japan, worked for the Japanese Government and is very familiar with Japanese customs and etiquette. She is an experienced presenter and Master of Ceremonies and tour organiser and guide for business, government and personal visits.
Qualifications from the University of Auckland include: Masters Degree of Professional Studies in Translation (Honours), postgraduate courses in Advanced Japanese Translation and Theory, Ethics and Techniques of Interpreting. Japanese Language Proficiency Test: Level 1 (1993)
